Kasey Rissman is a LPCC #9950 at Desert Marriage and Family Counseling. She grew up in Palm Desert and returned after attending San Diego State University. She completed her master’s program in Rehabilitation Counseling and became a Yoga Instructor, developing ways to combine breath work, mediations and mindfulness into her counseling practice.

Passionate about mental health in adults and teens, clients with eating disorders and substance abuse in our country, she knew that Desert Marriage and Family Counseling was a natural fit.

Kasey is well diverse in a multiple of therapy techniques that she implements while building a supportive rapport with her clients. Kasey is Dialectical Behavior Therapy Trained and Internal Family Systems informed therapist. Working towards her Eating Disorder Specialty Certification.

In her free time, Kasey enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family and dog. Grateful for our community, Kasey looks forward to meeting with you.
