Madeline Stevens received her Masters of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and registered with the Board of Behavioral Science. Her background includes over 10 years experience working as a counselor at the Betty Ford Center. As a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor she has helped many people struggling with active addiction. She also worked with families dealing with the disease of addiction including helping families work on appropriate boundaries, co-dependency, enabling and effective communication.

In her over 25 years counseling experience Madeline has worked with individual, couples, families, children and adolescents. She specializes in helping people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic disturbing memories and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She uses EMDR to help relieve distress from trauma. She understands that the aftermath from a traumatic event can be difficult. She uses effective tools to help her clients find a renewed sense of purpose and appreciation for life.
